WARCRC "SCALE" SERIES
About
Scale trucks refer to RC vehicles such as a Vanquish Products VS4-10, RC4WD Trail Finder, Tamiya Hilux, Axial SCX10 and Axial Wraith. The Scale series follows all SORRCA 2017 rules and have competitions and we run 3 Class's... Class One (4.19 Tire Max), Class Two (4.75" Tire Max), and Class Three (5.75" Tire Max).
WARCRC Scale Comp event penalties, it's like golf.... you're trying to end with the lowest score as you can. In red are the penalties you can acquire. Note that progress points reduce your score, -2 points on every gate cleared. The lowest score you can get on a course is -20(without scale points factored). What are Scale event courses like?
For the new folks that haven't been to a WARCRC Scale Comp event, here is the layout of a course we make. Note that each class of our 3 classes have two courses each and have a 10min time limit on each. It's oddly fun and will push your skills! It's like golf, your trying to finish the course with the least amount of Penalties. The more you hit a cone or reverse or etc... the higher your score is. Don't get a lot of penalties? The top of the podium you go! *Note we use 2017 SORRCA rules.
