WARCRC is a club that hosts RC Crawler events around Washington state at public locations, events are free and family friendly. Our club has been around since 2005, traveling around the state to different scenic outdoor locations hosting events. WARCRC has a “Crawler” series and a “Scale” series. Each event has each driver go through multiple 10 gate courses with a time limit and penalties can get added to your score like hitting a gate or reversing. RC crawling is less about high-speed racing and more about slow technical precision driving and conquering difficult terrain/courses. We celebrate the craftsmanship behind the hobby and our members are dedicated builders who build some uniquely designed trucks with the main purpose of crawling on rocky terrain

WARCRC has been running a Crawler series in since 2005, the Scale series since 2008 and our U4RC series since 2014 to 2024. We originated with a few guys running modified trucks based on a Tamiya Clod Buster, TLT and etc. Over the years many classes have been formed and the club has slowly evolved to what it today.
WARCRC runs three different "Crawler" classes…, Mini (1.9 Class), the Sporty Class(non-dig, with drivelines), and Pro (motor on each axle, no drivelines, 2.2 MOA). Events hosted by Chris B.
Scale trucks refer to RC vehicles such as a Vanquish Products VS4-10, RC4WD Trail Finder, Tamiya Hilux, Axial SCX10 and Axial Wraith. The Scale series follows all SORRCA 2017 rules and have competitions and we run 3 Class's... Class One (4.19 Tire Max), Class Two (4.75" Tire Max), and Class Three (5.75" Tire Max).
U4RC trucks refer to trucks like an Axial Yeti, Axial Bomber, Losi Rock Rey and etc. U4RC mimics full size events such as King of the Hammers or Ultra 4 racing. This series was ran from 2014 to 2024 but this series is not currently running. Keep an eye out on our WARCRC Facebook page to keep up to date if there are U4RC events announced but nothing is currently planned.
If you think extreme off-roading is only for full-size rigs, you haven't seen what the WARCRC TTC trucks get up to. Among the regular Crawler and Scale events we host across Washington state, one event stands out for its sheer brutality and engineering demands…the Top Truck Challenge (TTC). This 1:10 Scale event was modeled after the Four Wheeler Magazine’s TTC competition, trucks are submitted by contestants and voted in by WARCRC members. Just like the full size events, only 10 trucks get voted in and run in 6 TTC courses. A TTC event is not currently on the schedule but keep an eye out on our WARCRC Facebook page to keep up to date if there are TTC events announced but nothing is currently planned.

At WARCRC, we are committed to promoting a family friendly environment and great gathering of like minded RC Crawler builders to enjoy the wonderful locations we have here in Washington State.

Chris has been doing an amazing job keeping the Crawler class still going, WARCRC's oldest series. From sharing tech, helping members with their builds.... we are very lucky to have Chris (and his dad Wayne) in our club.

WARCRC member Glenn G aka GGOOLER on the forums. Here is his Hummer from 2010-ish, picture is from the Montana Scale Nationals event. Glenn was one of major key members to start the WARCRC Scale Series back in the day, thanks for all the hard work and helping make what the scale scene is today!
